Feeling successful in therapy depends so much on finding a counselor who you really click with. You probably know by now that finding the right therapist can take a lot of time and research, which is why I start with a no-pressure consultation with every potential new client. Typically I feel that meeting with my clients once a week or once every other week is ideal in order to make forward progress and not have to backtrack too much. We can tailor a schedule that works for you. I’ll explain my process, explore what your goals are for counseling, and take time to address any questions or concerns you have. You should never feel in the dark about your care plan, so I take care to make sure you understand and are comfortable with the course you are on throughout the process. While I bring clinical and professional expertise to our sessions, it is really about you and what you want to accomplish by working together.

Step 1: Build Skills
Allison draws from therapies including ACT, DBT, CBT, Polyvagal Theory, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction to help create an individualized toolbox of skills that will help you break patterns that keep you stuck and effectively address stressors.
Step 2: Develop Sustainable Routines
We'll define goals for a more balanced and sustainable lifestyle while addressing rigid thinking patterns that keep us from breaking free of old belief systems. Once we find clarity around goals, they will be broken down into manageable steps for you to begin to put into action while Allison offers accountability, guidance, and support along the way.
Step 3: Deep Healing Through Balancing and Unburdening Your System
You will get to know the different parts of your internal system to create the flexibility to reorganize them in a way that feels balanced. We then work with the parts of you that carry trauma in order to unload the burdens from the past that keep us repeating patterns.
Lifestyle Design services
Work one on one with Allison to finally achieve your goal of living a well designed life. Together you’ll discover imbalances in areas such as nutrition, movement, relationships, career, sleep, stress, and overall self-care. Each session is completely personalized to fit your individual needs and healthy habit goals. Throughout coaching sessions, you will discover what is most important to you, release limiting beliefs, and make actionable and sustainable lifestyle changes. An additional benefit of Lifestyle Design services is the flexibility to choose from a variety of venues for our work together. This can look many different ways, but some examples include going to the grocery store to practice healthy meal planning skills, walking in the park as we process your mindset goals, or meeting at a coffee shop to map your progress after a new morning routine. We get creative license to tailor your plan for greater life balance in a way that is designed to fit you.
This service is for those that are feeling stuck and need guidance to get organized and move forward with personal goals versus traditional mental health counseling which addresses and treats mental health issues.

55-minute session: $175
I am an in-network provider with Aetna, Cigna, and Optum insurance.
I have a limited number of sliding scale spots for those experiencing financial hardship.
Your right to fair, transparent billing practices is protected. Even if you receive care out of network from your regular provider.
